Mission Statement

The American Milking Devon Cattle Association conserves the genetic stock and promotes the viability of the triple-purpose Milking Style Red Devon through careful breeding and increasing the registered herd size. We will strive to promote this historic breed as the premier breed of cattle for sustainable healthy agriculture, to benefit both future farmers and the evolving health conscious consumer in the marketplace. Both the sustainability of agriculture and the availability of healthy agricultural products are key factors we believe are critical to the well-being of our civilization, way of life, and protection of our resources.
